Steve Stricker is associated with a hat-trick in the club

Steve Stricker fell 25-foot putt to win the Green John Deere Classic for the third straight year in the fringe of the 18th century.Putt capped Stricker, who led by five at the back nine, two shots behind rookie Kyle Stanley then fell under two to close with a par 69 final roller coaster for two birdied holes in the afternoon.

Stricker became just the 10th golfer to win the PGA tournament three directly after the second world war. He finished at 22-under 262 to win one of Stanley. stroke Matt McQuillan, who had missed 10 of his previous tournaments, the Cut, shot 64 in the third one with Zach Johnson (65) to finish at 17.
